  • December 05, 2018
  • 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
  • Blue Water Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1365 6th Street, Marysville

As part of its ongoing FREE Wednesday-night wellness series, the church welcomes a representative of the St. Clair County Health Department for a discussion of opioid abuse and hepatitis A. Attend and learn:

  • How bad is it? Local, national data on the opioid epidemic and resulting hepatitis A outbreak in Michigan.
  • How this impacts our communities.
  • What you can do to prevent prescription drug abuse.
  • Naloxone, a useful drug for intervening in opioid overdose.
  • How opioid use is contributing to Michigan's hepatitis A outbreak.
  • What hepatitis A is, how it spreads and how to prevent it.
A question-and-answer session will follow.
